HR Manager – Kent

Our client is a major UK brand. They are currently recruiting for a Senior HR Manager at their newest, state of the art distribution centre in the South East. A relocation package is offered.

This site is a large 24-7 operation and they are looking for someone capable of working closely with the business partnering managers in both an operational and strategic capacity.

Whilst managing a small operational HR team the key deliverables of this role will be:

  • To develop, lead and drive high quality HR practices that will contribute to the site and organisation’s strategic intent
  • To integrate HR into the strategic thinking of the business at an operational site level
  • To assist in the continued development of employees through the implementation of effective performance management and talent management.
  • To champion and facilitate change to improve the operational effectiveness of the site.
  • To implement corporate projects at a local level sharing best practice with the wider HR community where possible

You will need to be capable of acting as a point of escalation dealing with senior and complex ER issues, up to and including dismissal and tribunal.

In order to be considered for this role you must have had exposure to the following:

  • Working in a fast paced unionised industry
  • Influencing at a senior operational management level.
  • Managing high profile and complex ER cases including Tribunal, TUPE, restructures and change management.

This is a challenging but highly rewarding role that would suit a charismatic leader capable of championing a modern and dynamic approach to HR solutions.

Salary is negotiable dependent on experience (Maximum of £45k). Package includes a car.
